A couple weeks ago we went to the pumpkin patch. It was really fun other than having to wear hats and coats and boots. Mace really enjoyed it this year--he was big enough to do everything, and he DID do everything (except the big corn pool thing which I steered him away from because I didn't feel like cleaning corn out of his ears).
Judging from other pumpkin patch pictures I've seen, pumpkin patches and apple orchards are the same everywhere. They have bouncy horse things, bouncy trampoline things, and giant slides. Corn pools and corn mazes, those strange tractor/car things, pedal tractors, and petting zoos. Kettle corn, caramel apples, apple cider, apple cider donuts.
Bring us all the donuts.
Honestly the only thing missing was a little Oktoberfest and we'd be set.
His fave was jumping on the big bouncy thing. He looked like a little elf bouncing around with his red hat on.
And tractors. Because tractors.
